FIRST SHOT OF LUNAR ECLIPSE AT 7:32PM (Palau Time)
     Palau Royal Resort staff held a surprise birthday treat to its GM (General Manager) Masayuki Kawaguchi on April 04, 2015 at Red Rooster Cafe. To their surprise, it's a total lunar eclipse that night. Actually, the real birthday of GM Kawaguchi is April 03.

During the 2014 surprise birthday celebration for Palau Royal Resort General Manager Masayuki Kawaguchi, there is some chip-in for staff for the cake and food. The venue was the GM office's meeting room.

The birthday treat was held on April 01, 2014 because GM is leaving for Japan on official business trip. Roberto realized that GM can play piano also. His first request to Roberto at Breeze Bar during his early days at PRR was the Japanese song "Love Is Over".        (Photo by Roberto Hernandez)



The contribution in 2014 is $10.00. This time at Red Rooster Cafe, it's $22.00 including dinner buffet treat with staff from Human Resources (Mr. Bob Hsiao, Vina and Ley), from Sales and Marketing (Lorna Casteneto, Jenica Yu and Sales Director Mr. Jurako), from Purchasing Department (Jonathan and Jason Delgado).

When everybody realized that it's a total lunar eclipse that night, they are taking photos of the moon in its early up to the time that it's not visible anymore to the naked eye of a digital camera.

    The Executive Department, together with Sales and Marketing Department of Palau Royal Resort always have their separate Christmas Party in the first week of January as was held here on Jan. 09, 2015 (Friday).   LATE CHRISTMAS PARTY OF EXECUTIVE,
  SALES AND MARKETING DEPARTMENT OF
             PALAU ROYAL RESORT

SINCE 2008, The General Manager (GM) of Palau Royal Resort is treating the Executive, Sales and Marketing Department staff to a dinner at the popular hotels/restaurants in Palau.

In January of 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 GM Isao Takahashi treated the staff at Dragon Tei twice, at Palau Pacific Resort twice likewise.

During those treats, Amos Mesubed, the PRR Specialist, is always the life of the party with his 'green jokes' (jokes about sex). Many times, Roberto 'improvised' his jokes like this one he told during the 2013 party at Elilai Restaurant with new GM Masayuki Kawaguchi...

                     ALL ABOUT FRUITS

In a Micronesian country (Yap), a lady is not allowed in the court to say the private parts of human.

A rape victim Yapese lady is asked in the court to say what happened on the night that she was raped.

Knowing she is prohibited to say the private parts of her, she just said, "He tried to put his banana in my papaya!"

The judge asked them, "WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE, FRUIT SALAD?"



                   ROBERTO 'IMPROVISED' WITH THIS...

In a Yapese court, a lawyer is explaining to his rape victim client about the prohibition to say private parts...

"If you were asked to say which part of your body was touched by the rapist, you will say "banana" if he touched your arm, and "papaya" if he touched your big boobs."

She nodded. She understand what he means.

When the rapist's lawyer asked her, "Which part of your body did my client touch FIRST?"

She answered, "FRUIT SALAD!" 


Amos and his wife came late on Jan. 09, 2015 but it didn't stop him from telling another story...

                       STINGY PALAU OLD GUY

Amos suggested to an old Palau guy to have some good time once in a while and go to some karaoke bars and enjoy singing with the ladies there.

He followed Amos' advise and after a few days, Amos check him and asked what happened.

He said, "I followed your suggestion. I go to karaoke bars and enjoyed singing but the ladies seem to avoid me."

Amos asked him, "Do you buy them ladies drinks?" When he said no, he asked him again, "Do you give tips to the ladies before you leave?"

When he said no again, Amos gave him this advise:
    "WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR WALLET,
     THEY WILL OPEN THEIR LEGS!"
