PALAUAN GUY REQUESTED
A CLASSICAL SONG, SETTLED
FOR "THE LADY IN RED:
On Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Waves Restaurant of Palau Royal Resort, as I am playing piano instrumental music from 7-9 pm, an American guy in clutches came with a Palauan guy as his assistant.
30 minutes later, the Palauan guy come to me and requested a classical song which I don't know yet. He asked if I know the song by Chris DeBurgh "The Lady in Red" and I said I know it. He later came back and asked the American guy some money and he gave him $3.00 as my tip.
Because it's Saturday, there is a performance of Ngermid Dancers, who were one of the performers at Palau Royal Resort in New Year's Eve Countdown in 2008, 2009 and 2010. The fat guy, like a Sumo wrestler, is their leader and performing at Palau Royal Resort's Waves Restaurant on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Due to decreasing number of guests, the management made it only Mondays and Saturdays and lately, their last performance on May 28, 2018, where I took a video of their performance where Maria Fe Bruto, Restaurant Supervisor, copied from me and sent to her kids in the Philippines to see.
In January 2018, the Ohama Dancers are performing at Waves Restaurant with an all-women dancers. Their performance is not enthusiastic and was replaced by Ngermid Dancers a few months later...
