ALMOST CRUSHED MY RIGHT HAND
This Japanese guy shook my right hand very firmly that he almost crush the most important part of my arms that's doing the piano's melody. He is with Japanese lady Yuko this time. When she came back the next day, she's by herself and I almost didn't recognize her. She gave me a glass of red wine. (Photo by Roberto Hernandez)
JAPANESE GUY WITH A
VERY FIRM HANDSHAKE
On Jan. 23, 2018, I have a lone Japanese guy in front of the keyboard that requested a lot of international songs. I was able to play and sing all of his requests. During that whole night that he enjoys the evening, he has given me $3.00 tips in total. All in new one dollar bills.
I felt unsatisfied especially when he shook my right hand very hard that I feel the pain of my finger bones almost cracking.
The next evening, he came with Yuko and he requested some more songs and no handshake this time.
Nine days earlier, Yuko came with her friend who likes the songs of Elton John.
There are 2 other Japanese ladies in front of the keyboard that appreciates my Japanese songs. I gave them my card and song books (Japanese and American songs).
Because of playing with expression and not so much breeze (or wind) that evening, I perspire a lot. One of the ladies gave me $10.00 tip.
When we have some photo sessions, my sweats are noticeable in the photos...
The guy in green, to my surprise, requested "Crocodile Rock" by Elton John. I sang it with the key transpose 2 steps lower. He gave me $2.00 tip.
