MUSICIAN COLLEAGUE
A Japanese guest requested a song to me written on a small pieces of paper. I can't read it because it's written in Japanese character. I come to him and he said the title in English but I can't remember it. When he mentioned that he's a trumpet player at a jazz band in Japan, I said I will play for him a few of my jazz songs in my repertoire.

JAPANESE JAZZ TRUMPET PLAYER
LIKES MY JAZZ PIANO MUSIC
IN JANUARY 20, 2018, as I am playing instrumental piano music at Waves Restaurant of Palau Royal Resort, a small paper was given to me by a waitress. She said it comes from a lone Japanese guest a few meters away from the piano.
When I read what is written on it, I can't read it because it is written in Katakana Japanese character in which I'm not sure if I remember it right.
So I go to the Japanese guy and ask him what it is. When he said it in Romaji, I don't remember it because he mentioned that he is a trumpet player in a jazz band in Japan.
We have some photos taken and I went back to the piano and played 4 of my best jazz piano/keyboard instrumental--"Wave", "The Girl From Ipanema", "Satin Doll" and "This Masquerade".
While I am playing "This Masquerade", he comes to me and recorded some part of it while I'm playing it and said, "That's This Masquerade", one of my favorite."
He said later that he likes also the "Girl From Ipanema" and "Wave".
