Ronald Mission, left, might be the most spoiled junior player in the 2013 PNCC. He played against Ksau Anthony Whipps with his earphone on and didn't write the moves. He said he will just copy Ksau's writing after their game, which he lost even though he won Ksau's queen in the middle game.

CM Bernardo Garcia, standing in the middle, can afford to watch other games because he is about to win top seed Cyril Tomas Montel, Jr.'s queen in exchange for a mere bishop. Cyril blundered early, not typical of his cautious play.                                                                 (Photo by Roberto Hernandez)

Dennis Gonzales, left, suffered his 3rd straight loss from Nilo de Jesus. His losses to CM Bernardo Garcia and NM Roberto Hernandez were tough pill to swallow as he has winning chances but blew it.
