                      RESUMPTION OF ROUND 6, 7
               OF 2003 OPEN CHESS TOURNAMENT

THE FIRST time that 4 drawn games have been played in any round of the ongoing 2003 Open Chess Tournament held at Image Restaurant and Sports Bar on March 09, 2003 which is jointly sponsored by The Filipino Community in Palau (TFCP), Margarita Borja Dalton (Owner/Manager of Image Restaurant and Sports Bar) and by Budget Mart.

Dubbed as "Draw Master" previously, Edgardo Enarsao halved the point with former champion Eddie Grefiel for the first drawn game.

Roy Rebollos and Jose Misael de Jesus also drawn their game while the "Drunken Master" Jimmy Valenzuela had a deuce with newcomer Menandro 'Boy' Manuel. Jimmy was dubbed as "Drunken Master" for playing better when he had enough to drink.

The last and 4th draw of the day was between De Jesus and Noel Filomeno. It's the 2nd draw of De Jesus for the day.

In the Class B Division's Round 4, Chito Vargas and Amante Caballero are making their moves for the lead in their division with convincing victories over Norbert Villanueva and Ben Ramos respectively.

Tutii Joe Chilton suffered a setback from the hands of 14-year-old Arvie Leynes while the remaining 3 matches were default wins by Remy Mingo over Kris Ramos; Villanueva over Vincent Vergara and Allen Kangichi over Nilo de Jesus.
