LAST GAME OF CM BERNARDO GARCIA AFTER WITHDRAWING
Candidate Master Bernardo Garcia, left, shakes hand with Gonzalo Escapatoria during their 1st game of 2012 Palau National Chess Championship. Their 2nd game will be recorded as + - in favor of Escapatoria as CM Garcia withdrew from the tournament one week before the conclusion of the event to give way for a possible playoff to settle the issue of game fixing and that players of the same company must not play in the last 3 rounds of the event.
