(630) CYRIL SIMUL, BLITZ AND MEETING AT BETHLEHEM PARK


Palau top chess player Cyril Tomas Montel, Jr., left, played a simultaneous exhibition games against Jun Mahor, right, the Reserves Division champion of the recently concluded 2013 Palau National Chess Championship held on Sunday, Oct. 13 at Bethlehem Park. One of the rules of the simul is that no players will make a move until Cyril is in front of them. In the first few moves, all 3 players are making their moves after Cyril makes a move. All 3 players prefer to stand while playing even though their is a long bench behind them.           (Photo by Roberto Hernandez)
