Palau
top chess player Cyril Tomas Montel, Jr., left, played a simultaneous
exhibition games against Jun Mahor, right, the Reserves Division
champion of the recently concluded 2013 Palau National Chess
Championship held on Sunday, Oct. 13 at Bethlehem Park. His 2nd opponent
is Eugene Labarda, 2nd from right, 4th placer in the Reserves Division
and Eugenio Pastrana, 2nd from left, 4th placer in the Top 12 Division.

One
of the rules of the simul is that no players will make a move until
Cyril is in front of them. In the first few moves, all 3 players are
making their moves after Cyril makes a move. All 3 players prefer to
stand while playing even though their is a long bench behind
them.
