THE MOVES:
Dennis Gonzales, 2nd from left, and Alfredo Pacenos, Jr., played their game not on the big table but on the bench. Their game is the longest of the event. At almost 70 moves, Dennis got a king and a knight while Alfredo had a king and a rook. Roberto start counting for if Alfredo cannot mate Dennis in 50 moves, it will be a draw. On the 41st count, Alfredo won the knight but he runs out of count as he needs 4 more moves to mate Dennis and the count is already 50 and still, no mate. Their game lasted till 7pm.
