After losing his first 2 games Paquito Suringa Jr. scored 2 straight this time over Jeff Balbalosa in 40 moves of Grunfeld Defence









Leif Toribiong is still winless when he lost to Angel Salvadora in 60 moves.








In the women's division, only one game was played and Jennifer Tubtub Angeles lost to Bheng Codinera Mendoza in an Irregular Opening of 1. e3 d5.








Tito Cabunagan snapped the 3-game winning streak of Rustum Cabuso in 54 moves of Scandinavian Defense; 








My piano/chess student Nicholas Nehez lost again to Michael Ramdette Gulla. He wrote a big "My mistake" on the score sheet.







Both Destiny and Angelil defeated Aome Jennifer Tubtub Angeles








     In the junior division, Angelil Sisior and Reece Reklai are the 2 remaining undefeated players. Reece dealt Destiny Sisior her first loss and won over Gian Gabriel Claronino when he didn't show up.











I mated Gonzalo Escapatoria in 45 moves of Pirc Defence;
