(1017) PIICC REPORT AND PICTURES IN 2012 MARCH AUSTRALASIAN CHESS MAGAZINE

AS mentioned in the earlier post, the third Palau International Invitational Chess Championship was featured in the March 2012 issue of Australasian Chess Magazine.

The magazine allocated page 38 for two colored pictures and two pages (pages 39 and 40) for the joint report by Roberto Hernandez and Joselito Marcos of PNG including the tournament crosstable and three games among the top three finishers. The event was jointly won by PNG's Joselito Marcos and Palau's Menandro Manuel. Cyril Tomas Montel Jr, currently Palau's number one ranked player, came in third.
