MORE POPULAR THAN PRR STAFF
This estrange wild cat (no owner) became a "pet" of Palau Royal Resort as he/she (not sure of 'gender') usually comes at Breeze Bar of PRR whenever (it) smells food. When guests feed (it), that's the time that it comes closer to them.

'PETS' OF PALAU ROYAL RESORT
and Palau Pacific Resort
IF Palau Pacific Resort has wild chickens/hens as their 'pets', Palau Royal Resort accidentally have a cat that became one of the 'attractions' at PRR.
Some staff are jealous of the cat's popularity especially among Japanese tourists as the cat has more photos taken by the guests than them including their popular musician Roberto Hernandez.
When Roberto used his chess prize (gift certificate of Brunch for 2 at Palau Pacific Resort Coconut Terrace Restaurant) with his wife Flor in Feb. 21, 2010, there are some wild chickens/hens that are picking up the bread crumbs and rice that fall down from guests' tables. Lesser job for janitors!
About 3 years ago, there's a Japanese family of 4 (2 boys are teenagers) who had drinks at Breeze Bar of Palau Royal Resort. Three stray cats showed up but the white one with black spots is 'tamed' and play with one of the boys. He enjoyed the evening playing with the cat. The other 2 are 'wild' and nobody can touch them. The white one must be a pet of a neighbor.
Before leaving, the teenage boy asked Tonet Medilo (Cashier) if those cats are there at any given time. Tonet said, "Yes, and different colors." Those guests might come back to Palau for that 'added attraction'. That white cat showed up only once and never show up again. There's one white cat (different one) but very elusive. At the slightest different sound, it will and will leave. There is another one that's the same size and color of the 'popular' one but they quarrel every time. Maybe the popular one is saying... "This is my territory."
There are 4 young Japanese ladies 4 months ago that they enjoy 2 hours with this cat. All of them feed the cat with fish fingers and other snack food that they order. A lot of pictures were taken and maybe the cat ate more than the 4 ladies.
This brown cat was there for many minutes during the Palau Chess Federation Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Waves Restaurant of Palau Royal Resort in Feb. 10, 2013. It's been a regular 'attraction' of the restaurant until one of PRR cook caught it with a net, put it in an empty sack of rice and bring the brown cat to a very far away place and leave the cat there. It never returns again.
Sometimes as many as 4 cats loiter around at the pool side, beach and Breeze Bar that there is a rumor that the management will pay $10.00 for a cat caught. This is not a good idea as some employees will bring some cats from outside and claim they caught it to get extra money.
Former Executive Chef of PRR Masaki Horie, left, went 'hunting' for the brown cat (above) with a water gun! He don't like animals roaming around a 5-star hotel/resort. He thought that cats are scared of water so he 'hunted' them with a water gun. It doesn't work.
The management 'adopted' the cat and it became an attraction. The guests really thought that the cat is a pet of the hotel. THE CAT FOUND A HOME AT P.R.R.!!!
