IMAGE RESTAURANT'S TRIO LOS GUAPOS --1992 - 1993
Wilson Prima, left, Willy dela Cruz, middle, and Roberto Hernandez were former members of Tropical Depression Band from Feb. 04, 1992- July 16, 1992. When the band disbanded in July, Wilson and Roberto applied at Image Restaurant and passed the audition. Willy joined them 2 weeks later. (Photo by Roberto Hernandez)

(HANDSOME THREESOME)
When Roberto Hernandez accepted the job to work as band member in Palau, another offer to come back to Bahrain as keyboard player at Khayam Taverna (Greek Restaurant) confused him on which one to accept.
After consulting his wife Flor and father-in-law Martin Miranda, they decided to accept the offer in Palau because it's so close to Philippines and you can have a vacation where you can afford to buy your own airfare.
When the Continental Airlines plane landed in Palau at 1:30 pm on Feb. 04, 1992, Roberto immediately felt that he is close to nature as he saw an egret or heron when the plane has landed.
If that bird is in Manila airport, it's already shot down by sling shot or airgun and been cooked as "adobo".
Roberto was welcomed at the airport by his employer Elena Sutton, a blind Palauan singer/musician who is married to Judge Laurence Sutton.
They proceed to the place where the Tropical Depression Band is practicing for 3 hours 5 times a week.
The place is called Sunset Bistro, located under the famous KB Bridge, a 20-year bridge built without a single post in the middle.
The band lasted only six months. When it disbanded, Wilson and Roberto auditioned in front of Margarita Dalton Borja, the owner-manager of Image Restaurant.
The duo were able to play all of Margie's requests and she shouted, "You're hired boys!"
Wilson and Roberto played for 2 weeks before Willy dela Cruz, a very good drummer, joined them 2 weeks later.
