(1515) 7th & 8th ROUND OF 2018 PRCC; BOBOT CLINCHED TITLE

7th & 8th ROUND OF
2018 P. R. C. C.;
BOBOT CLINCHED TITLE

.
 In the Junior Division, Angelil Sisior virtually clinched the division after her closest rival to the crown Gian Gabriel Claronino lost to my piano/chess student. In their game, he won the queen of Gian but gave it back without compensation. Gian's king was mated in the corner with a rook. He lost his other game to Michael Adette Gulla. Angelil's last 2 games is against him and her younger sister Destiny Sisior. If she would lose one of those game, Gian and her will be tied for 1st place if Gian would win his last game against Destiny.

 I subdued Angie Sisior in a miniature 16-mover of Modern Defense. Cyril Tomas Almitante-MontelMorton SawaichiAngelica Morales MagnoJennifer Tubtub Angeles, Aome Angeles and Christopher Kitalong didn't show up and their games were declared losses except to Magno, who had a 7th rd. BYE for a point and another point over Kitalong, who played only in the 1st rd.

BOBOT TAN CLINCHED 2018 PRCC PLUM....Just like the previous Palau tournaments, Bobot Tan swept the opposition like a storm and clinched another plum after playing his 9th and final round game vs. Mohammad Manik Hossain. It was indeed another perfect finish. His closest rival, Angel Salvadora, defeated Tito Cabunagan in the 8th rd. and Glen M Navarroza in the 9th rd. when the latter blundered away his queen without compensation in a winning position. He clobbered Angie earlier
