BLITZ TOURNAMENT AMONG 8 PLAYERS ON PRACTICE/PAYMENT DAY AT ERNGUUL PARK....After 17 players have registered for the 2018 Palau Rapid Chess Championship to start on April 1st, 8 players participated in a mini blitz contest with Bobot Tan winning it again with a perfect 7-0 slate.

 Cyril Tomas Almitante-Montel is 2nd, Tito Cabunagan is 3rd, Rustum Cabuso is 4th. I am 5th (Tito, Rustum and me have identical 4 wins 3 losses card). Other contestants are Bheng Codinera Mendoza, Glen M Navarroza, and Angel Salvadora. 

Those who registered for the Open section, aside from that 8 blitz participants were Angelica Morales Magno, Angie Sisior, Christopher Kitalong, Leif Toribiong, Dennis R Gonzales, Morton Sawaichi, and Joan Gemota. Only 2 registered in the junior division--Nick Nehez and Angelil Sisior.

 Others are expected on April 1st-- Michael Adette Gulla, Rommel Gulla, Destiny Sisior, Gonzalo Escapatoria, Wilson Barrameda, Joel Gemota, Pedro Parmisano, Reece Reklai, Gian Gladys Anne Francisco Paloma, Gian Gabriel Claronino, Jennifer Tubtub Angeles, Aome Angeles, Kyarii Sisior, Manuel Mahor, Neph Macasaet, etc.
