REDEMPTION FOR Angel Salvadora? He didn't participate in the 2016 PNCC Qualifying because Angie Sisior played as No. 7 seed. This year, he is seeded 7th but not listed in the FIDE rating list so he has to play with Dennis R Gonzales and other qualifiers--Bobot TanGonzalo EscapatoriaManuel Mahor, Neph Macasaet, Wilson Barrameda, Leif Toribiong and the 3 ladies Angie, Jennifer Tubtub AngelesBheng Codinera Mendoza

. It is redemption as he won all of his first 4 games to be the first qualifier since last week. Dennis lost again vs. Jojo and needs to win his last game vs. Bheng to qualify. Angelo subdued Jennifer; the first draw of the event was between Angie and Bheng while Jun drubbed Neph and Bobot got another scary situation but recovered again when Wilson failed to convert his advantage with good attacking moves. 









 Leif had a BYE for his first point. LAST ROUND (5TH) PAIRINGS: (First name to play the white pieces) 1. Bobot vs. Angelo 2. Jun vs. Jojo 3. Bheng vs. Dennis 4. Neph vs. Jennifer 5. Leif vs. Wilson and Angie will have a BYE to finish with 3.5 points but she's playing in the Women's Division as well as Bheng and Jennifer.
